CampingThere are 14 Campgrounds in the parks. They operate under a first come first serve policy, and only 6 people are allowed per campground. The campgrounds come with some basic amenities such as a picnic table, fire ring with grill, and a metal storage box(to keep your food safe from bears). Many of the campgrounds are in generally close proximity to Markets. These markets normally include a laundry facility, showers, restaurants, and gift shops.
The 14 Campsites: Potwisha, Buckeye Flat, Lodgepole, Dorst Creek, Atwell Mill, Cold Springs, Crystal Springs, Azalea, Sunset, Sheep Creek, Sentinel, Moraine, and Canyon View. TrailsSome easy trails in these National Parks are Grant Grove Trail, Zumwalt Meadow, and General Grant Tree Trail. Grant Grove Trail and Zumwalt Meadow trail take about an hour to hike, it is about 1.5 mile round trip. Zumwalt is a scenic flat loop around a gorgeous meadow and Grant Grove Trail is a trail touring all of the most iconic Sequoia's in this national park. The General Grant Tree Trail is another easy trail. It takes 30 minutes to hike and its a .5 mile round trip. This trail shows you the General Grant Tree and many other Sequoia groves.
